DESCRIPTION:The International Museum of Women in collaboration with Aarhus University and the Women's Museum in Denmark invite you to a program and reception celebrating the launch of Young Women Speaking the Economy.   Learn more about the exhibition>>   Event details: Wednesday, June 15, 2011.2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Women's Museum in Aarhus, Domkirkepladsen 5, 8000 Aahrus, Denmark. Remarks by Bodil Olesen, Co-Director, the Women's Museum in Denmark; Clare Winterton, Executive Director, International Museum of Women; Jan Ifversen, Vice-dean for knowledge exchange, Aarhus University; and Nina Koefoed, associate professor, Department of History and Area Studies, Aarhus University. Learn more about the exhibition>>  Launching on April 21, 2011, IMOW's newest online exhibition will explore young women's hopes, aspirations and ideas at a critical moment for the global economy. Groups of women aged of 18-25 from the Sudan, Philippines, Denmark, and the United States will share their creativity and perspectives on the economy, careers, well-being and professional life with each otherand with the museum's global online audience.    Major funding for this innovative multi-country project is provided by a grant from the American Association of Museums' Museus & Communities Collaborations Abroad (MCCA) program and a MetLife Foundation Museum and Community Connections grant.
