About me:
Born in Seinäjoki, Finland, Kaisu Koivisto is a visual artist whose creative focus has been shaped by the mad cow disease epidemic in Europe in the mid 1990s. Kaisu’s sculpture and installations explore the relationship between people and animals. She uses recycled materials and photography to depict these environmental issues, which affect the lives of people in small towns as well as in big cities.
