About me:
Lucia Nimcova was born in Humenne, Slovakia, a small town near Polish and Ukrainian borders. She is a graduate of the Institute of Creative Photography in Opava, Czech Republic. Since 2000 she has been documenting women in Central and Eastern Europe for which she has been awarded the Fuji Euro Press Award, World Press Photo Joop Swart Masterclass and Mio Award. She has exhibited her work within many joint and solo projects in Europe and Japan.
