About me:
Farheen Haq has always been an explorer and is fascinated with communication, language and symbolism. She was born to a Pakistania family in Southern Ontario, Canada. She has studied in Toronto, worked in Southeast Asia and currently resides on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Farheen was born on January 14, 1977. Her work deals with constructs of identity and cultural inscriptions of the body, especially the female body. Her work aims to question these constructs and open up possibilities for dialogue.
