Sam Yagan is the co-founder and CEO of OkCupid (HYPERLINK: www.okcupid.com), a free, online dating site. Born in Chicago to Syrian immigrant parents, Sam is a serial entrepreneur whose work has attracted broadspread attention, including coverage in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post, the Economist, American Venture Magazine, and Inc magazine. His first major business was SparkNotes, the world’s leading brand of educational study aids; subsequently, Sam was the President of MetaMachine, Inc, developer and distributor of the world’s leading P2P file-sharing application, eDonkey. Sam is a graduate of Harvard College and Stanford Graduate School of Business, and currently resides with his wife Jessica in Cambridge, Massachussetts.
