About me:
Born in South West Germany, Karin Heisecke has lived in a number of European countries where she has been involved in women’s initiatives, focusing particularly on ending violence against women. She initiated and implemented the stop-rape-paper-bag campaign, and has been involved in a number of initiatives around women and art/culture, including benefit performances of The Vagina Monologues in her home town Idar-Oberstein, in London, Luxembourg and Brussels.
