ساندرا لجوبنكوفك "Sandra Ljubinkovic" من صربيا، كانت في الرابعة عشر من عمرها حين اندلعت الحرب في يوغسلافيا وخلال تلك الفترة ازداد اهتمامها ومشاركتها في المجالات الرياضية التي ساعدتها على الهروب من طبيعة الحرب التي لا يمكن فهمها. عملت ساندرا منذ بداية نشأتها مع المجموعات النسوية كناشطة ضد الحرب لتكون مصدر الهام للنساء الشابات ليستعدن ثقتهن بأنفسهن.
