About me:
Born in Mexico, Amor Muñoz was a student as the National Autonomic University of Mexico Law School and Felipe Neftalí’s painting workshop. She has also attended the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts, been a drawing and painting teacher at the Autonomic University of Carmen in Campeche and taken courses on the preservation and restoration of culturally and historically significant buildings. She has held several independent exhibitions in different galleries, cultural centers and alternative spaces in Chiapas, Campeche and Mexico City. Her group exhibitions were featured in Mexico City, Merida, Chiapas and Campeche and New Orleans and in several of Mexico’s biennial painting exhibitions. Amor has worked as a museographer and graphic design assistant at the Carmen Llewelly Gallery, New Orleans and as a designer and illustrator for different southeast cultural magazines.
