About me:
Sharanya Manivannan was born in India in 1985 and grew up in Sri Lanka and Malaysia. She is a writer, painter, dancer and photographer, and has worked as an activist and journalist. She is working on a novel, “Constellation of Scars,” a book of poems, “Witchcraft,” and is also editing an anthology for Women Unlimited, a division of “Kali For Women,” India’s first feminist press. In late 2006, she published a limited edition handmade chapbook of poems and illustrations, “Iyari”. In June 2007, she held her solo spoken word show, “Ochre As The Earth”, in Kuala Lumpur.
