Born in 1983, Noriko Yamaguchi lives and works in Kobe, Japan. She graduated from Kyoto University of Art and Design. In 2004 she was awarded the judge’s prize at the 21st century Asia Design Competition. Her work comprises photographs, videos, sculptures and drawings related predominantly to the concept of transforming the human body and skin. She has performed the Keitai Girl several times in both Japan and Korea. Yamaguchi is currently doing postgraduate studies at Kyoto City University of Arts.
