Since graduating from the Manoel Theatre Academy of Dramatic Arts, Coryse’s theatre roles have included Nadia in Some Explicit Polaroids (Unifaun Theatre Productions), Maria in West Side Story (Newstage), Katarina in The Taming of the Shrew, Queen Vindicta in Snow White, Mistress Page in The Merry Wives of Windsor (all MADC), Susan in Five Kinds of Silence, Belinda in Noises Off (Masquerade), Sharon in A Slice of Saturday Night and parts in The Vagina Monologues (FM Theatre Productions). Coryse has also had parts in films ‘Gladiator’, ‘Revelation’ and ‘Helen of Troy’ as well as on TV. She directed Heart of a Dog for Teatru 111 at the Manoel Theatre and, more recently, Audacity for the MADC at St James Cavalier. Coryse has participated in various theatre courses and performances overseas, as well as in street theatre with KneeHigh Theatre Company (UK). She has been a soloist and backing vocalist in a number of musical projects and concerts. Coryse is currently a drama teacher at Stagecoach Malta Theatre Arts School as well as a freelance writer.
