About me:
In fulfilling a long-standing dream, at age 56, I resigned my position in health care to attend the Maine College of Art, Portland Maine. In the summer of my junior year I received a fellowship to study in Florence, Italy. In 2006 I was accepted into the Masters Program at RIT and graduated magna cum laude with an MFA in Sculpture and Painting. We coverted our garage into a studio and I am
making as much art as I possibly can.
Exhibit change by:
I exhibit change by functioning as a role model for other women, as it is possible in ones later years to change directions and succeed . I think my work also expresses
women's desire for community, identity, and purpose.
I'm passionate about:
Building community, and actively participating in its rituals and customs.
