My installation Dinner for Six: Inside Out consists of a dinner table covered with crochet and an intricate web of thread. The table waits silently to be laid with food and drinks. The installation refers to the homemaking aspect of women's lives. It investigates the parameters of their freedom, the energy they invest in daily caretaking and homemaking routines, and the negotiations that go into establishing their existence and agency within the house. Day in and day out, they work diligently to create webs of comfort within their homes.
