About me:
A Copenhagen based fine art photographer and printmaker with focus on People and Places. Have worked, travelled and studied abroad and converted the inspirational input into the use of historical and alternative photographic techniques such as image transfer, cyanotype, platinum-palladium printing and photogravure. It is in the slowness of these handmade processes that I obtain an individual expression of my images and this is where I feel at home. A supplement to our digital world.
My photographic work often emerges in the form of thematic series like “Blues of India”, “Manhattan 2002”, “Simple Living” and others. It is however the portraiture that enables me to focus on the destiny of women, which perhaps is best expressed in the interdisciplinary exhibition of “The Desertwomen’s Quilts” and in the “Immigrant” portrait of 93-year old Polish born Marianne, today a French citizen.
