About me:
Hello! I am originally from Toronto, Canada. I completed my bachelors in History and Classical studies there, and have always taken an interest in gendered issues throughout historical contexts. Now I live in Aarhus Denmark, and I am completing my Masters in International Studies. I am happy to be a part of the Young Women Speaking the Economy Project because it not only highlights the economic challenges and opportunities women have today, but does so in a cross cultural and comparative way that brings a deeper understanding to the subject at hand.
Exhibit change by:
I try to exhibit change by never accepting what I am told at face value. I probe for more information, and always contemplate if there is another way or another solution. I think this can bring on change because to think this way means one is always challenging the status quo.
I'm passionate about:
I am passionate about learning how current trends in globalization can create changes for women. I like to see in what ways these trends become limitations for women in various regions of the world, how they respond, and how they are able to create opportunities for themselves.
