About me:

Artist . Mother . Focusing on photography . Documenting the lives of women and capturing the spirit through portraits .
I started a project called MAP- Mother Artist Project and I photograph mother artists behind the scenes. Documenting the truth about balancing the two very different worlds of motherhood and being an artist.

With the support of a grant, and donations on gofundme I hope that This body of work will be a part of a traveling show.

I also blog my interviews of these women and share their stories and photos I've taken for the public to view. Collecting a database of sorts - a circle and promote the idea that balance is possible. Dreams are reachable - no matter the situation.

My work photographs are meant to expose the truth of the hard work and dedication of mother artists around the world. I feel that throughout history women have not been taken seriously. That to be an artist mother must mean it is her hobby - not her life passion.

My puspose is to give these women the exposure they deserve. Also to encourage other mother artists to not give up what they love- that balance is indeed possible .

The blog is an ongoing project- being updated with new stories weekly.

I'm passionate about:

I am passionate about people. Their stories are all different and all very meaningful. I love to capture a moment. Preserving it- because it comes and goes.

Art helps me do that.
