The Stone Dresses
In carving these dress shapes out of stone, I explore the question: What is a woman?
 Three Matriarchs
Women are beautiful and alluring, an archetype related to the mother figure. This is however a one sided image of women. Through my sculptures I try to investigate other ways beside the archetype in which a woman can manifest herself. The other expressions include the shy girl or the fearful child. All these different aspects are put into the dress. |
