Hope to Action is a U.S. based movement of women for climate protection. Together, we are taking action to solve global warming, one of the greatest challenges of our time. Why women, you ask? Because each of us holds the keys to solving climate change.

Jennifer Caldwell, founder and executive director of Hope to Action joins Pamela Joyner, Leila Minerva-Rivers, Gabrielle Layton, Angela Sherry Evans, Thao Pan, Lind Sherry, Mary Slawson, Teal Momota, Karla Martin and Kerry Kennedy in inviting women to organize and protect the environment.
Women make over 80 percent of all U.S. household purchasing decisions. Now that's consumer power! Our choices dictate what products get produced, new trends, and what we might expect in the future. As women, we wield tremendous consumer power and deserve to know how the products we buy and the choices we make affect the health of our homes, our communities and our environment. So make good decisions for yourself, your family, and our planet - then watch the market follow YOU into the future.

Women and children suffer most from global warming. We comprise 70 percent of the global poor. According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), "the impacts of climate change fall disproportionately upon developing countries and the global poor, exacerbating inequities in health status and access to adequate food, water, and other resources."

Women deserve a stronger political voice. We deserve more decision-making authority on climate issues. Historically, men have dominated climate-related policy making, domestically and around the world. It's time to restore gender balance to decisions that reflect one of the greatest issues of our time, especially since women and children will be impacted most by those decisions.

We are our children's advocates. Women want the best for our children's futures. Whether we're mothers or not, the desire and commitment to protect our children's futures connects us to each other and resonates deeply for women of all backgrounds and faiths.
