The women in these photographs are all professionally trained musicians from the Sinfônica de Campinas and Sinfônica da University of São Paulo in São Paulo, Brazil. They've dedicated their lives to music, working to hone and harness their talent so that they can make a career out of doing what they love.

About the Artist

Isabela Senatore was born in Sao Paolo, Brazil in 1977. She studied photography at The Art Institute of Boston in the United States and interned at Magnum Photos in New York City. In her work, Senatore has documented people in Mexico, India and Brazil. Her photography has been show at museums and galleries across the United States and Brazil.
